Fine-art weddings
in Queenstown

Above Lake Wakatipu, among the vineyards of Central Otago — emotive, editorial wedding and elopement photography, anywhere in New Zealand your story takes us.

A dramatic alpine landscape above Lake Wakatipu — Queenstown wedding photography

There are few places as cinematic as Queenstown — snow-dusted peaks falling straight into the lake, golden Central Otago hills, and light in the last hour before sunset unlike anywhere else. Wherever you’re celebrating, I photograph the day the way it’s felt: unhurried, romantic and real.

Where I Photograph

Queenstown & Lake Wakatipu

Lakeside lawns with The Remarkables mirrored in the water — Jack’s Point, Kelvin Heights and the town’s most iconic backdrops.

Gibbston Valley

Winery weddings among the vines, just twenty minutes from town — cellar-door romance in the heart of Central Otago.

Wanaka

A quieter alpine alternative — Rippon vineyard and the still waters of Lake Wanaka beneath the Southern Alps.

Arrowtown & Central Otago

Historic gold-mining charm and golden autumn colour — Bannockburn and Cromwell’s wine country beyond.

Private Lodges

Matakauri Lodge, Blanket Bay and the region’s most exclusive addresses for an intimate luxury celebration.

Heli-weddings

A ceremony on a mountain peak or glacier — for couples who want something truly unforgettable.

Good to Know

Do you travel to New Zealand for weddings?

Yes — New Zealand is one of the most beautiful places on earth to marry, and I travel to Queenstown, Wanaka and across the South Island for weddings and elopements. Travel is built into every destination collection.

Where in New Zealand do you photograph weddings?

Most often around Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu, the Gibbston Valley wineries, Wanaka and Central Otago — but anywhere your celebration takes us.

Is it easy to legally marry in New Zealand as a foreigner?

Wonderfully so. There’s no residency requirement — you apply for a marriage licence around three working days ahead and marry with a licensed celebrant. It’s one of the simplest countries in the world to marry in as a visitor.

When is the best time of year for a Queenstown wedding?

Summer (December–February) is warmest and most popular, autumn (March–May) turns the vineyards gold, and winter (June–August) brings the possibility of a snow wedding. Plan your ceremony for the golden hour before sunset.

How much does a luxury wedding photographer in New Zealand cost?

Collections begin at a set starting investment, with most couples investing more depending on coverage, albums and travel. A full pricing guide is sent with every enquiry.
